Appletons Old English Crewel Wool: Appleton Bros. Ltd. have been producing 2-ply crewel wool for over 150 years. The wool is spun and dyed in the U.K. on the worsted system and is of the same quality as that used for top grade furniture coverings. The crewel wool is also recommended for persian rug repair. It is hard wearing, moth-proofed, and durable. The yarns are available in 421 color shades. We have a large selection of crewel hanks available at the overstock sale price. As the color numbers become no longer available, they will be labeled as "sold out". Any "sold out" color numbers will remain available at the regular price. Let us know when placing your order if you would like to substitute regular priced hanks if any of the sale price hanks become sold out.
